BioDrive® Signal Is Weak or Stops Mid-Session
If BioDrive® loses or shows a weak signal during a session, work through these steps.
Step 1: Finger Sensor Fit & Placement
- Place the pulse oximeter fully on the finger (snug, not tight).
- Warm your hands, cold fingers reduce signal quality.
- Keep your hand relaxed and still on the armrest.
Step 2: Re-seat the Sensor
- Remove the sensor from your finger, wait 5–10 seconds, re-apply.
- If you see an indicator on the control/app screen, confirm it’s receiving a pulse.
Step 3: Stable Breathing
- Breathe in a smooth rhythm (slow inhale, longer exhale) to help stabilize readings.
Step 4: Cable & Power Check (Control Box / Pro)
- Ensure sensor cable is fully inserted into the ShiftLink and control knob.
- Check chair power and, for Pro, that ShiftLink and USB-C cables are fully seated.
Step 5: Restart BioDrive®
- Toggle BioDrive® off → on in the app or via the control box button.
- If needed, restart the session.
Step 6: Try Another Finger
- Some users get better signal on the index or middle finger of the non-dominant hand.
After You Fix It
Run a short BioDrive® session and watch the indicator, steady tracking should hold for the full session.
