How to Update Your Shiftwave Control Box with the Latest Protocols

Keeping your Shiftwave Control Box up to date ensures you always have access to the newest protocols and system improvements.
This quick guide walks you through how to update your Control Box using your Shiftwave USB drive.

Step 1: Remove the USB from Your Control Box

  1. Power off your Shiftwave Control Box.
  2. Gently remove the USB thumb drive from the MEDIA port (top-right corner of the Control Box).

Step 2: Insert the USB into Your Computer

Step 3: Download the Latest Protocols

  1. Go to our official Dropbox link:
    Download Latest Shiftwave Protocols
  2. Download all protocol files from the folder to your computer.

Step 4: Copy the New Protocols to the USB

  1. Open the USB drive on your computer.
  2. Delete all existing files from the USB (to prevent duplication or version errors).
  3. Copy the newly downloaded protocol files onto the USB drive.

Step 5: Safely Eject the USB

Before removing the USB from your computer, always eject it safely to prevent file corruption.

Step 6: Reinsert the USB into Your Control Box

  1. Insert the updated USB back into your Control Box.
  2. Power on the Control Box.
  3. Explore your newly updated protocols directly from the menu.

Your system is now up to date and ready to use.

If your Control Box doesn’t recognize the USB or the new protocols don’t appear, check that the files were copied correctly and the USB was safely ejected before reinserting.
