Introduction to Shiftwave Protocols
Shiftwave protocols are guided sessions that combine pulsed pressure waves, audio, and breathwork to help you shift your state, whether you need calm, focus, energy, or deep rest. Each protocol uses a different rhythm and pattern of vibrations, paired with audio and breathing cues, to guide your body and mind into the state you’re aiming for. Think of them as personalized playlists for your nervous system: each one is designed with a specific goal in mind.
Why Protocols Matter
- Tailored to your needs → Some protocols are calming, some are energizing, some are restorative. You pick the one that matches how you want to feel.
- Guided experience → The audio, vibration, and breath cues work together so you don’t have to think about “doing it right.”
- Progress over time → Just like exercise, the more you practice with different protocols, the more flexible and resilient your nervous system becomes.
Guided vs. Unguided Protocols
Shiftwave offers two types of protocols:
- Guided protocols: Include audio instructions and breathing cues to walk you through the session. Perfect if you’re new to breathwork or want structure.
- Unguided protocols: Focus only on the pulsed pressure waves without spoken guidance. Great for when you want a quieter experience or you’re already comfortable with breathwork.
Session Lengths
Protocols come in a variety of lengths, anywhere from 5 minutes to 60 minutes.
- Short sessions are great for a quick reset in the middle of your day.
- Longer sessions give your body and mind more time to deeply relax, recharge, or restore.
How to Use Protocols
- Choose your goal: Do you want to unwind, recharge, or focus?
- Select the matching protocol: Look for guided or unguided options, and pick a length that fits your time.
- Settle in: Recline in the chair, put on your headphones and mask, and let the protocol guide you.
- Follow the cues: Breathe with the rhythm and let the vibrations do their work.
