How do I connect my mobile app to the iPad app?
Your Mobile App and iPad App need to be linked so your session data syncs automatically.
Here’s how:
- Open the Mobile App and make sure you’re signed into your account.
- On the iPad App, open Settings → Add/Link Profile.
- A QR code will appear on your iPad screen.
- Use the Mobile App to scan the QR code, your account will link instantly.
Once linked, all your session data and Mini Lab metrics will appear in the Mobile App.
Can multiple users share the same Shiftwave?
Yes, multiple users can share one Shiftwave system.
Each person can create their own account in the Mobile App, then link it to the iPad App using the QR code. This ensures each person’s data, preferences, and Mini Lab results remain private.
If someone just wants to try Shiftwave without making an account, you can use Guest Mode in the iPad App, these sessions are not saved or tracked.
How do I view my session data and Mini Lab results?
After each session, your results automatically sync to the Mobile App once your accounts are linked.
To view your data:
- Open the Mobile App and go to your Dashboard.
- Tap Mini Lab to see your session summaries and metrics.
- Explore trends over time to track your progress.
You can view information like your heart rate, HRV, and oxygen levels, as well as patterns that show how consistent use helps your focus, recovery, or relaxation.
Why do Mini Lab scores differ from wearables?
Your Mini Lab data reflects your in-session state, while most wearables measure your resting or baseline state (like during sleep).
Because Shiftwave uses vibration, sound, and breath guidance, your heart rate and HRV readings naturally fluctuate during use. That’s expected and part of how your body responds in real time.
The goal isn’t to match your wearable data, but to see how your nervous system adapts and balances during and after each session.
Do I need the pulse oximeter to see HRV data?
Yes, the pulse oximeter is required to capture HR, HRV, and SpO₂ readings in the Mini Lab.
Without the sensor, your sessions will still log in the Mobile App, but you’ll only see basic session information (like protocol type and duration).
