Protocol Download Is Slow or Interrupted

If downloading protocols to your iPad takes too long or stalls, try these steps.

Step 1: Check Network Quality

  1. Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network (prefer 5 GHz).
  2. Run other apps (e.g., load a webpage) to confirm bandwidth.
  3. Check internet speed and stability

Step 2: Pause/Resume the Download

  • In the iPad app, pause and resume the protocol download to re-establish the connection.

Step 3: Restart App & iPad

  1. Force-quit the Shiftwave iPad app and reopen it.
  2. If still slow, restart the iPad.

Step 4: Reduce Load & Interference

  • Move closer to the router.
  • Temporarily stop large downloads/streams on your network.

Step 6: Update App / iPadOS

  • Update the Shiftwave iPad app and iPadOS to the latest versions, then retry.

After You Fix It

Start a short session to confirm the protocol plays correctly end-to-end.
