Troubleshooting: System Stops Mid-Program
If your Shiftwave system stops in the middle of a session, the most common cause is a defective USB thumb drive. The good news: this is easy to check, and you can keep using your system while we help you resolve it.
Step 1: Power Off the Control Box
- Turn off your control box completely before removing the thumb drive.
Step 2: Remove the Thumb Drive
- Find the USB thumb drive in the top-right “MEDIA” port on your control box.
- Gently remove the thumb drive.
Step 3: Power the Control Box Back On
- Turn the control box back on.
- With the thumb drive removed, your system will automatically play protocols from its internal SD card.
If the issue goes away, then the thumb drive was the cause. Please contact our support team to help you from here.
Step 4: Next Steps
- You can continue using your Shiftwave with the internal SD card.
- To get your thumb drive replaced, please contact our support team.
- Let them know you followed these troubleshooting steps and confirmed that the thumb drive is the issue. This will help us get a replacement out to you faster.
