What You Need to Use Your Shiftwave Pro

The Shiftwave Pro is designed to be simple, powerful, and flexible. Unlike the previous version that used a dedicated control box, the Shiftwave Pro uses an iPad and the Shiftwave Control App to run all protocols.

To make sure you’re ready on day one, here’s exactly what comes with your Shiftwave Pro purchase and what you’ll need to have or purchase separately.

What You Need to Purchase Separately

You’ll need the following items to use your Shiftwave Pro:

1. iPad with USB-C port (minimum requirements)

   • Older iPad models without USB-C will not work.
   • We recommend the latest iPad with the M series processor for the best performance.

2. Headphones

   • Any Bluetooth headphones work, use your favorite pair.
   • If you prefer wired headphones:
     
     • You’ll need a USB-C adapter to connect them to the iPad.
     • If you are upgrading from the original Shiftwave with the control box, this adapter is required for your wired headphones to work with the Pro.

3. iPad Stand (optional but strongly recommended)

   • For the best experience, we suggest the INVZI MagHub 3: 8-in-1 Docking Station Stand for iPad Pro and Tablet.
     
     • Supports charging while in use.
     • Provides wired headphone connectivity.
     • Doubles as a docking station.
   • If you don’t need wired headphones, you can use any stand you prefer — just make sure your iPad can stay plugged in and charging during sessions.

When you purchase a Shiftwave Pro, you’ll receive:

• Shiftwave Pro Chair: the pulsed pressure wave system.
• ShiftLink Module: connects the chair to the Shiftwave Control App.
• Eye Mask: provides visual deprivation for full immersion.
