What You Need to Use Your Shiftwave Pro

The Shiftwave Pro is designed to be simple, powerful, and flexible. The Shiftwave Pro uses an iPad and the Shiftwave Controller App to operate the chair.

To make sure you’re ready on day one, here’s exactly what comes with your Shiftwave Pro purchase and what you’ll need to have or purchase separately.

What Comes With Your Shiftwave Pro

When you purchase a Shiftwave Pro, you’ll receive:

  • Shiftwave Pro Chair: a powerful pulsed pressure wave system equipped chair
  • ShiftLink Module: that connects the chair to your iPad and the Shiftwave Control App
  • USB-C Cable: that enables initial secure pairing between the chair and your iPad; can also be used for wired connection purpose
  • Audio + Charging Adapter: enables the use of wired headphones on your iPad which doesn't come with an audio adapter; also enables an option of continuous charging along with wired headphones
  • Eye Mask: provides visual deprivation for full immersion
  • Quick Setup Guide: easy to follow QR card scan option to get Shiftwave app access for setup instructions on your iPad

What You Need to Purchase Separately

You’ll need the following items to use your Shiftwave Pro:

  1. iPad with USB-C port (minimum requirements)

    • We highly recommend the latest iPad Air 11" with the M-series processor for the best performance
    • Other iPad models with USB-C might work, however at this point we do not provide support with them
  2. Headphones
    • Any Bluetooth headphones work, use your favorite pair.
    • If you prefer wired headphones:
      • iPad does not come with an audio port. However, please use the audio + charging adapter included in your Shiftwave package to connect them to your iPad. 

  1. iPad Stand (optional but strongly recommended)

    • For the best experience, we suggest the INVZI MagHub 3: 8-in-1 Docking Station Stand for iPad Pro and Tablet.
      • Supports charging while in use.
      • Provides wired headphone connectivity.
      • Doubles as a docking station.
    • If you don’t need wired headphones, you can use any stand you prefer — just make sure your iPad can stay plugged in and charging during sessions.
